We love nothing more than getting compliments back from our clients and their families and we want to thank our wonderful Care and support team for all their hard work, compassion and dedication every day.

We are also very touched to receive feedback from loved ones when sadly someone can no longer attend our Centre due to illness or when someone passes.  It is our pleasure and privilege to support all of our clients and an emotional time for all of us when this happens. It means a lot to us and our Care & Support team to be able to support the client and their families at such a difficult time. Person-centred care, dignity and respect are very important to us.

Thank you to all the families who take the time to send us all the lovely cards, letters, emails, flowers and chocolates. We really do feel appreciated and it means so much to us all.

Here are some of the lovely and very touching testimonials that we have been privileged to receive from our clients recently :

As time went on mum’s short term memory deteriorated so much that she was unable to tell us what she had done at the centre or what she had eaten that day. On mentioning this to Lisa she immediately provided a notebook that would be written up at each visit telling us what mum had done that day and what she had eaten.  This enabled us to be able to talk to mum about her day.

Mum’s condition further deteriorated and it was becoming very difficult for us but more importantly for mum to shower. Lisa arranged for mum to have a weekly bath at the centre,  the carers really pampered her, letting her soak in the bath and doing her hair making her feel really special. They even washed and dried the clothes she was wearing prior to her bath. 

Sadly mum has had to go into long term residential care following several falls, Lisa and another carer came to mum’s house the night before to wish her well and have stayed in touch since, asking for updates on mum.

I cannot praise the Day Centre highly enough and firmly believe that the care and socialisation mum received at the centre helped to keep her in the community for much longer.”
