Themed Activities at the Day Care Centre

Our Day Care Centre clients in Golborne have been very busy over the last few weeks with various stimulating activities, such as potting some lovely pansies, painting and decorating Easter crafts, enjoying some doll therapy and watching some classic movies.
Bridgewater Day Care Centre offers a safe, friendly, and relaxing place for older persons and those living with dementia to visit for the day between 10 am and 4 pm and enjoy social interaction, freshly prepared food for lunch, games, activities and much more.
Help will be on hand from our highly skilled and personable Care & Support team to create an enjoyable and stimulating social environment.
Our Personal Care Service can include support with any of the following:
- Help with bathing
- Assist with dressing
- Provide grooming
- Help with Incontinence
- Assist with eating
- Provide medication reminders
We have toilets and bathing facilities on the premises and assistance will always be available to anyone who needs it.
All the care team at the Day Care in Wigan have completed the Bridgewater Care induction programme, completed a week-long intensive training course in social care, provided 3 references and have been subject to an Enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) check and Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults check prior to supporting any clients.
